Common questions
How do I start a session?
Tap Begin and follow the dot around the square. The four sides guide you through inhaling, holding, exhaling, and holding again. You can pause, resume, or finish a session using the on-screen controls.
Why does the session pause when I lock my phone?
Silent sessions and sessions with the app’s sound volume set to zero pause when the app leaves the foreground. Choose an audible mode if you want audio guidance with the screen locked. Haptic guidance works while the app is in the foreground on supported devices.
I can’t hear the phase cues.
Check the sound mode and in-app volume in Settings, then check your iPhone’s media volume and audio output. Disconnecting headphones or receiving an audio interruption pauses the session; resume when you are ready.
My daily reminder didn’t arrive.
Check that Daily reminder is enabled in Quietish’s Settings and that the selected time is correct. In iOS Settings, allow notifications for Quietish. Focus and notification settings can silence or delay reminders. The reminder uses your chosen local time.
Where are my mindful minutes?
Apple Health saving is an optional Pro feature. Enable it in Quietish and grant permission, then finish a session. Only active session time is written; paused time is excluded. Quietish does not read your Health data. You can review permissions and entries in the Health app.
How do I restore Pro?
Use Restore purchase in the app while signed in to the Apple Account used for the original purchase. An internet connection may be needed. If the store is unavailable, try again later. Quietish Pro is a one-time purchase, not a subscription.
How do I remove my history?
Open Your practice and clear session history. If a history file was damaged, a local recovery copy may remain. Deleting the app removes its local application data; Apple backups may retain earlier copies. Health entries are separate and can be managed in the Health app.
